AGENCIES & MODELS
General information and FAQ.
General information for models & agencies.
I have prepared this short information page for models and agencies to better understand what I usually require of them when we work together. The idea of this page is to answer questions you might have about the work I do and what it is for.
Please feel free to send me an email if you have a question that was not answered here and I’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.
What are the photos for?
The photos we work on together are to be used as part of my weekly content galleries for paying members here on my website.
*** Members pay a monthly fee ranging from $2.99 to $14.99 to gain access to the galleries on the website and other content on Patreon. There is no pre-defined calendar or guarantee for me to publish photos of a particular model on the website. This means that as a model, you will get and be able to use your photos, but that does not mean it's guaranteed they will be published on any of The Private Lens digital properties.
What am I looking for in a model?
I look for models who feel comfortable in their own skin. Confident, with some modeling experience in my genre (implied and art nude).
I want models to be creative and to bring some of their own personality into the portraits we do together; I like when a model contributes their ideas to make the work better.
I enjoy working with open-minded people who would try the craziest ideas, even if we end up not using them.
What can you expect from a shoot with me?
A very comfortable working environment. I focus a lot on my work, but will not let awkward silences dominate the room. I’ll make sure the model feel comfortable with the work we’re doing and the whole environment around us.
Nudity: most of my shoots involve nudity. This doesn’t mean you have to do nudity, that is your choice and yours only, and you can let me know in the form below if you’re willing to do nudity or not. When nudity is part of my shoots, it’s usually nothing explicit, and nothing portraying any kind of sexual act, but rather a more artistic/realistic/homey/natural nude look.
* This does not mean all shots will be nude or that we will not try other ideas.
Do models get the retouched photos?
Yes! After every shoot, I send the model a link to all un-retouched images where they pick out their favorite shots and I’ll gladly retouch those and send them out to the model. The finished retouched images sometimes can take up to a few weeks to be delivered because I am always traveling and working on the content for the website
*** I will send retouched images to the models for them to use freely regardless of the fact that I’m paying their standard rate for time and work.
Is video ever recorded during the photo shoots?
Yes! During every shoot since January 2019 I have included taking some video shots for teaser and Behind The Scenes videos. These are, usually, short clips of close-up details of certain outfits or nude elements.
These clips could be used edited as a behind the scenes video on the Website or Instagram TV as well as the unedited clips as teasers on their own.
*** All clips and edited videos would also be delivered to the model to use as she considers ideal on her own social media or website(s).
What if I just want to hire you as a photographer and don’t my photos on your website?
No problem at all. Just fill out the form below and I’ll send you my packages, prices and I’ll gladly work with you on your project.

About me!
My name is Oliver Domínguez, I am a portrait photographer born and raised in the Dominican Republic. After finishing high school, I moved to Orlando, FL to go to school for Music Production & Engineering at Full Sail University and then moved to Boston to do a Master’s Degree in Music Business at Berklee College Of Music. I had my camera with me at all time and used mainly to take pictures of inanimate objects and landscapes.
It was not until January 2017 that a good friend of mine asked me to take her portrait and we agreed to meet up in a hotel to try a shoot. When my friend stepped out of the dressing room I noticed she was wearing nothing but panties. That situation made me really nervous (I had never done photos of people up until then, let alone, nude and implied portraits), but I decided that since I was there already, I could give it a shot.
After we finished our shoot, I felt liberated, free and creative and started getting calls and messages from her friends to do similar shoots. I later thought that a female portraits platform showcasing models from different parts of the world in up-close intimacy could work; and that was how The Private Lens came about.
I look forward to working together. I have included some samples of the work I have done with other models below. If you have any questions you can shoot me an email at oliver@theprivatelens.com
